9th Glacier Race: from 15th to 21th March 2009

For those of you who want to experience the indescribable pleasure of the mountains as they really are, of effort shared between friends, of exploring marvellous places, you will only have to wait a few more months …
We intend to set up a new group for beginners, so that everyone can do things at their own speed, depending on their level of skiing skill.

The number of different routes in the Portes du Soleil ski area and the neighbouring mountain ranges (Chamonix valley and the nearby parts of Switzerland) is so large that it is almost impossible to run out of possibilities. Our previous experience has shown us that the key factor is the weather, which is taken into account when deciding on each day’s route. Despite all that, we still foresee another night in a mountain refuge and a heliskiing outing ... weather permitting!
