


Stages Mont-Blanc > Program
Day 1 : Arrival at the Dahu. Welcome. Checking and adjustment of equipment provided (crampons, harnesses, ice axes, etc.).
Day 2 : Ice lessons on the Trient glacier in the morning learning to walk with crampons and learning simple belaying techniques, followed by climb to the Orny mountain hut in Switzerland to spend a first night acclimatising to sleeping at a high altitude.
Day 3 : Climb of the Aiguilles du Tour (3,544 m) via the Trient glacier (learning to walk on a glacier, initial sensations of being on a high mountain range and of the slopes). Return to Morzine.
Day 4 : Rest and varied activities (mountain biking, swimming pool, lazing!). Overnight stay at the Dahu.
Day 5 : Departure for Victor Emmanuel mountain hut in Italy. Overnight stay in hut.
Day 6 : Climb of Grand paradis (4,061 m). Easy walk to learn how to cope with high altitudes and prolonged effort. After these initial 4,000 m, return to Morzine.
Day 7 : Rest and cleaning up at Morzine..
Day 8 to 10 : Wait for ideal weather conditions for climb of Mont Blanc (2 days), either via the normal route, or via the Three-Mont-Blanc route.
