| Mountain-biking
is practised on easy, flat routes where the apprenticeship
consists of becoming thoroughly familiar with the features
of a mountain bike: the gears, the braking power, the proper
position for riding on your bike. Then comes stage for learning
how to deal with holes in the ground, tree roots, stones,
leaves, etc. It's not long before the rascals are asking for
more! Then it's time for the adults to get into top gear to
keep up with them! |

| Climbing:
Getting up there, conquering your fear, and reaching the top...
the top of the Dahu's wall-climb, then one step at a time,
learning about rocks, discovering how to touch them, learning
about balance. In total safety (equipment supplied), the child
progresses and once he has completed a climbing training course
with Fred Buet, aged 12 and upwards, he can set off to conquer
a real mountain: a mountain that captivates, a mountain of
wind and sun! |
